I'm having a very hard time accepting that Terry Pratchett has passed away. My heart just broke into a million pieces when I heard the news this morning. Probably the cruelest thing to happen to such a brilliant mind. My world, and really the whole world, is a better place for having had him in it. His wit, wisdom and humour will be missed for years to come. I'm glad I will always have his stories as my companions for the rest of my life.

And I'm glad that, even though he's gone, he got one last clever message out to his fans.

‘Do you not know that a man is not dead while his name is still spoken?’ – Going Postal

‘No one is actually dead until the ripples they cause in the world die away…’ – Reaper Man

‘Death isn’t cruel, merely terribly, terribly good at his job.’ – Sourcery
