I just finished The Tawny Man trilogy and have now started The Liveship Traders trilogy. Though it takes place in the same world as the previous two trilogies I've read, this is a totally different set of characters (with one exception, which makes me happy I read these series in the order I did). Though it starts off a bit slower than The Farseer Trilogy, it's much grander in scale, the characters are well fleshed out, and instead of the in-your-face action and tension of the previous trilogies, this one has that subtle, building tension in the background, ever-present and just waiting to explode. And the concept of the liveships is so intriguing, I'm looking forward to learning more about them.
Just read Robin Hobb people. Just do it.
